Timber Wolf Forest Products Expands Wood type Offering

A veteran to the wood components industry, Timber Wolf Forest Products has been providing top quality components for decades. A family owned and operated business, the company strives to provide customers with superior service and products. Today, Timber Wolf provides the Woodworking Trade with a wide range of kitchen island posts, corbels, furniture feet, and other structural and decorative wood components. With its recent release of products to the consumer market, Timber Wolf is ready to further expand its growing business.

Timber Wolf CEO, Madison Roper, says, “We have always provided quality hardwoods in our offering of furniture and cabinet components. In recent years the market has shifted as home owners and designers are driving the process. They are looking for that unique feel and touch that matches their taste and design. Timber Wolf, being a world class manufacturer, has embraced this idea and expanded to 17 species total.”

In addition to the standard offerings of Maple, Cherry, Alder, Oak, Pine and Poplar, Timber Wolf has expanded to add Sapele Mahogany, Walnut, Hickory, White Oak and Quarter Sawn White Oak to the mix. Timber Wolf has also added rustic wood species to accommodate rough sawn rustic designs. These species include Rustic Hickory, Rustic Alder, and Rustic Cherry.

“For many of our customers this broad selection gives them the flexibility to respond to the ever changing market and we are pleased to be the leader in the Industry by carrying a diverse collection and offering of wood species,” Roper added. “ We also are pleased to introduce our best selling specie, Plantation Hardwood, formerly known as Rubberwood.  While some are familiar with the species, typically from Asia, most are unfamiliar with the African variation that is used at Timber Wolf.” The African variation is acquired from a trusted partner in Africa where the end product is easier to sand, stain and paint. Many customers who previously struggled with Asian Rubberwood find great success with the superior African variation. This premium hardwood is also affordable. With a price less than maple or poplar, Plantation Hardwood is a great hardwood to try on furniture or cabinetry projects.

As Timber Wolf continues to grow, the company prepares for an exciting year ahead. 2018 promises big news for the company, including the introduction of a brand new catalog including new product offerings and the full wood species collection.

Timber Wolf Forest Products, American owned and operated, is located in Hudson North Carolina. Timber Wolf provides fine quality wood components to the trade as well as hobbyists and Do-It-Yourselfers across the country.
