As a result, Doellken-Woodtape has extended its stock program for edgebanding adhesives and now offers two cutting-edge PUR adhesive systems in cartridges for Holz-Her edgebanders and in pallets for straightline edgebanders as well as CNC controlled BAZ machines. Especially in areas with high humidity contents found in bathrooms or kitchens or heat exposure during transportations of furniture to Southern destinations during the summer months, PUR adhesives are a perfect solution. The mechanical bonding between the Edgebanding and the panel is built during the adhesive cross-linking process and makes the adhesion permanent, avoiding delamination.
