The Polymac and BIESSEEDGE product line from Biesse Wood Division contains a wide range of single-sided and double-sided edgebanding machines that satisfy the high-quality edgebanding needs of small to mid-size and large high production scale companies. With the introduction of the Akron 400 at LIGNA 2007, Polymac now offers a full range of edgebanding machines from the entry level (Akron 420AR) to the industrial level (Akron 800). Among the high capacity edgebanding machines, the STREAM 5.5 stands out for its excellent price/performance ratio and for its extremely user-friendly features. The multifunctional Akron machines are driven by numerical controls that ensure versatility and simple, fast, precise set-up changes. All Polymac machines are outfitted with Rotax Electro-Spindle high-frequency motors. The superior characteristics of these motors provide power and ensure top performance during machining operations.
