Polymac AKRON 800 Series from Biesse

The Akron 800 automation, provided by the numerical control, allows immediate changes in machining operation simply by calling up the program required. The multifunction work units help to eliminate downtime when changing machining operations. The Akron 800 has a wide range of applications. It is possible to apply banding material of all types from 0.4mm to 16mm (22mm as an option) in thickness. It is also possible to process panels with boring and/or milling operations, thanks to the optional device called "Pro-nesting." The Akron 800 systematically uses linear bearing guides on most of the working units to ensure precision of machining and adjustment, long-term reliability and working life even in the most difficult conditions.
