The Equalizer

The Equalizer from Castle Castle, Inc. levels the playing field between the small and medium-sized shop with The Equalizer. This is a true hotmelt edgebander designed with Siemens controls and a footprint for the small shop environment. The Equalizer uses a quick-change, automatically fed glue pot that makes color changes a snap, and virtually eliminates pot chill. With Siemens' temperature management technology, the glue reaches bonding temperature in under 20 minutes. The top-mounted strobe light lets the operator know when various stages in the heating cycle have been reached. This machine uses conventional hotmelt glue pellets for a rock-solid bond with all edgebanding material, including veneer, vertical grade laminate and up to 1.5mm PVC.
