Weinig Moulder Unimat 23 Sawing Machine The Weinig Unimat 23 sawing machine has been designed for sawing material horizontally (parallel to the bed plates.) It has 3/4-in. to 9-in. working width and 1/8-in. to 3 1/2-in. working height. Both spindles have a 50-HP motor. Feed speeds of up to 260 ft. per minute. Multiple saw blades increase the linear output. The close spacing of the saw blades on the vertical spindles makes it possible to producte very thin slats or veneers. Splitting wedges after wach spindle separate the individual slats for optimal surface finish and thickness control. This versatile machine can be used as a stand-alone unit or in combination with other machines such as the Weinig moulder, Raimann rip aw or Dimter cross-cut saw for a multitude of applications.
