IMA BIMA Work Centers The IMA BIMA Work Centers feature a new technology, which mitres and glues a continuous edging tape with a butt-joint to a rectangular panel. The edgebanding on panels in one automatic pass enables workpieces to be processed faster and easier than before. Benefits include: 90? corner edgebanding without grain disorientation of the edgebanding material; reduction of one tool change; significant increase of the total processing time; significant panel quality improvement; new design developments for the manufacturer; and no additional finishing on the panel corners, according to the company.
