Koch SBD-PTP

The Koch SBD-PTP combines advantages of a multi station through feed machine and PTP technology in a machine. The machine concept is suitable for small batches or larger production runs requiring virtually no or minimum manual set up.Multiple machining functions normally required to process work pieces like rails or panels using dowel construction can be processed in one machine, - all with only one operator. Using PTP technology, the machine can trim a part to size, bore horizontally for dowel holes, inject glue and drive dowels as well as do face work in separate station. Overhead working heads with individually controlled spindles will execute face boring, edge boring and other specialized features (router, grooving saw) can also be added to the basic system.
