LMC Super Thundermac

The LMC Super Thundermac is a high-speed planer-moulder with speeds to 800 or 1,000 fpm. It has a 6" x 9" or 12" capacity and is available with one to 10 heads. The 100-head machine, pictured here, weighs 123,000 lbs. The Thundermac includes many new latest technology features, such as a touch screen control panel, which includes head set control with the sizes for up to 5,000 patterns, and digital position readout for axial and radial readout for all heads. Desired sizes are downloaded to the moulder with auto set to heads, also includes history and trouble shooting of the machine. Information from the grinding room will be uploaded to the machine control for fast setup.
