CNC Software, Inc. offers Mastercam HighFeed machining function for CAD/CAM software. The new function, says the company, assists NC programmers in cutting machining time and extending tool life. The HighFeed function decreases feed rates with more material and increases feed rates with less material, which allows the machine to run at an optimized feed rate. This also maintains a constant chip load on the cutter for faster job completion and more efficient tool use, says the company.
