EPR-600 Double Planer

The Newman EPR-600 Double Planer is an economical, quality planer designed to be the alternative to typical "entry level" planers. The EPR-600 design is based on Newman's high speed double roughing planers but is designed for customers who need less production. The Newman EPR-600 is designed to plane random width lumber to target thickness. It has a 24" x 4" capacity and comes standard with electric feed drive! The EPR-600 will process lumber at speeds from 80 to 130 FPM and may be equipped with either the patented QUIETCUT Helical Carbide Cutterheads or standard High Speed Steel cutterheads. Electrically driven neoprene rolls provide a combination of high torque, positive traction and gentle non-destructive feeding of sensitive material. 100336892
