Model 2700

Unique Machine ' Tool Co. now makes a CNC shaper suited for making cabinet doors and related custom moldings and valances. Called the Model 2700, it has a spindle that travels along a rigid, cast-iron column and cuts a variety of door shapes up to 80" in length. The computer unit, which is operated through a touch-screen interface, controls the spindle's X-, Y- and Z-axis movement. The unit's Windows-based software package comes with a family of arched-door styles.
