The Collins Companies have recently announced a new product development aimed primarily at LEED architects and designers. They are introducing the only Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)-certified Western Pine particleboard in North America that has no added urea formaldehyde, the company says. Marketed under the name Collins Pine FreeForm , this NAUF pine particleboard is the result of two years of research, testing and trials to develop a particleboard that does more than comply with the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED standards.
