This product has been designed and built with large anvils on the measuring surfaces. These large anvils provide the function of squaring up the tool so that precise, accurate, thickness readings can be quickly made even by unskilled personnel. Measuring jaws are spring loaded to facilitate accurate readings even on soft materials.
