Great Lakes Custom Tool Diamond Tooling
Great Lakes' manufactures (and services) an extensive line of diamond tooling including cutterheads, router bits, and saw blades on their six-axis Vollmer QX D400, the first of its type to be installed in the Americas. This rotary-disc-erosion machine accommodates tools with diameters and lengths as large as 400mm. The QX D400 improves the quality of clearance surface finishes so material is less likely to adhere to the tools during cutting operations.
