POWERMATIC® PM2700 Shaper

POWERMATIC; PM2700 Shaper The new POWERMATIC; PM2700 Shaper has an extra large 30" x 40" precision ground cast iron table with a heavy duty miter gauge and an aluminum extruded support. The extruded aluminum fence has several T-slots for mounting wood faces and feather boards. The heavy duty industrial fence also allows the user to quickly move the fence close to its final position and lock it in. Then the precision micro adjustments on each side of the cutter can be dialed in at exactly the position needed. The precision on this machine also features a digital readout for the spindle height. This gives the user the ability to make adjustments to within .001" in the spindle height such as when perfecting the cut. The new POWERMATIC; PM2700 Shaper has a heavy cast iron base and an integrated caster system built into the shaper base. The shaper's 3HP and 5HP totally enclosed motor options provide excellent power and quality. Other convenient features include toggle release belt tensioning to assist in speed changes and 4" dust ports located above and below the table. 100378274
