Edgetech's postformers are designed to produce a wide range of store fixture components (shelving, cabinet door/drawer faces, vertical panels, work surfaces) as well as countertops, furniture, geoform shapes and many other custom postformed items. These machines are easy to setup and operate and can be quickly adjusted to produce different sizes and profiles. Edgetech developed a unique method for postforming laminate by designing a forming bar which incorporates both a heat platen and a cooling platen. The key to this forming method is the ability to rotate the forming bar from the heat platen tothe cooling platen immediately after the laminate has been formed. While applying pressure to the just-formed surface, the cooling platen draws heat away from the laminate and adhesive to help ensure a tight bond. The machine is available in an 8 ft. model or 12 ft. model, and it has a cove heatbar that can produce coved backsplashes up to 30" in height. Also an option is the pivot Fixture for forming laminate around narrow pieces and geoform shapes.
