Cabinet Makers Association announces regional workshop in Greensboro, N.C.

The Cabinet Makers Association, in cooperation with Delmac Machinery, is announces its next regional workshop. Delmac Machinery will host the next Cabinet Makers Association Regional Workshop, at its Greensboro, N.C. facility on Friday, July 30th.

This event is part of the CMA’s College of Cabinet Making and Custom Woodworking. CMA has scheduled a full one-day program packed with educational topics you don’t want to miss.

The educational sessions will begin promptly at 9 a.m., and will include three 60 to 90 minute educational sessions with a break in between for a hot buffet lunch.

When the educational seminars are finished, John Park, Delmac’s general manager, will take the attendees on a facility tour and Delmac will run a lean cell machinery demonstration.

The educational topics are:
Contracts & Collections, What every small business should know.
Mr. Jason Goins, Attorney, Wyatt, Early, Harris, Wheele. L.L.P.

Social Media & Digital Marketing, A Tour for Business Professionals.
Mr. Kim Williams, Client Services Manager, BĒM Interactive

Traditional Advertising & Marketing, Making Dollars and Sense from your Marketing Budget.
Dave Grulke, Executive Director, Cabinet Makers Association


Schedule:
8:30-9:00 Meet & Greet, morning refreshments
9:00-10:15 Contracts and Collections
10:30-12:00 Social Media & Digital Marketing
12:00-1:00 Hot Buffet Lunch
1:15-2:30 Traditional Marketing
2:45-3:15 Facility Tour
3:30-4:30 Lean Cell Machinery Demonstration featuring a nested base router, CNC bore and dowel machine, bander with return conveyor, and case clamp.

The cost to attend this event is $40 for advance registration for CMA members and other industry professionals. Advance registration will end seven days before the event. Late registrations and pay at the door will be $60. The CMA will credit $40 toward a new general membership dues payment (normally $249 for the year) for every new member joining at the event.
