Planit recognizes Ralph Hermanson

Planit recognized Ralph Hermanson of Harper Creek High School in Battle Creek, Mich. for his service as an educator in the industrial woodworking industry. Hermanson is retiring frm Harper Creek High School.

Over the years Planit has donated AlphaCam software to the various schools, including Harper Creek, to use as an educational tool. Students from the high school were on hand to present Planit with a plaque they designed using AlphaCAM to representatives from Planit.

Harper Creek's wood working program joined WoodLINKS in 2003/04 and began the program with about 40 students. Since then, the program has grown to over a 120 students that it services each year. Planit Solutions was very instrumental in getting the schoo CNC program off the ground too. They allowed Harper Creek to purchase an educational site license saving the school thousands of dollars in software costs. They also provide Hermanson free training, as an instructor, in using the Alphacam software.
