The Architectural Woodwork Institute (AWI) has awarded Lange Bros. Woodwork Co., Inc. the Award of Excellence for the custom interior woodwork and furniture of Congregation Emanu-El B’ne Jeshurun. The highly respected Award of Excellence program distinguishes the world’s finest custom architectural woodwork projects and acknowledges the efforts of the architects, design professionals and woodwork manufactures responsible for the projects successful completion. This recognition advances the project for the higher award, AWI’s “Standard of Excellence” award.
Lange Bros. Woodwork Co., Inc co-owner and project manager Randy Lange worked closely with Phillip Katz-Project Development, LLC and Northtrack Construction for 6 years prior to the 18 month construction of the 20,000 sq. ft., 10 MM project in River Hills, Wis.
Acacia, Walnut Burl, Birds’ eye maple, walnut and other woods were selected to enhance Phillip Katz’s sophisticated building and liturgical furniture designs which are influenced by historic precedent and timeless poetic biblical narrative.

www.langebros.com. It is the second time Lange has received an Award of Excellence from the Architectural Woodwork Institute. The first one was given for the company’s outstanding work on the Wisconsin State Capitol’s Restoration.
