BIESSE, a leading manufacturer of CNC woodworking machines, will return to the AWFS (Association of Woodworking & Furnishings Suppliers) Exposition, being held July 20-23, 2011 in the Las Vegas Convention Center. BIESSE and most CNC machine manufacturers withdrew from the event in 2007 as the housing and home furnishings markets went into deep recession. BIESSE and the other leading CNC machine makers will now return to the event this year as the U.S. economy rebounds.
“The wood products business is coming back,” says Federico Broccoli, CEO / President of BIESSE America and Canada. “BIESSE is among the largest makers of CNC machines. The US economy is now coming back slowly. The Canadian market never faltered. It makes good sense for BIESSE and others to exhibit at AWFS 2011 edition. We support the industry. We are going back to AWFS and will introduce and demonstrate several new products there.”
AWFS event is “THE” North American and international trade fair for commercial and residential woodworking and furniture manufacturers. The event attracts manufacturers of volume and custom furniture, cabinets, millwork, and wood products. It brings together small, medium and large manufacturers of residential and commercial furnishings, with suppliers including manufacturers and distributors of machinery, hardware, lumber, and construction materials. The AWFS event offers attendees an array of educational seminars. Currently there is no Canadian industry event, so the AWFS Exposition serves both the USA and Canadian wood products industries.
