For those interested in applying the merits of Lean Manufacturing to their business operations, the AWFS Fair provides an opportunity to learn from industry experts. On the pre-show day (Tuesday, July 19), attendees can take advantage of an all-day, Hands-On Lean Manufacturing Simulation. Attendees have fun while they learn, competing in two teams as they gain strategies that will radically transform the manufacturing floor. Taught by Brian Swanson of NACS, Inc., this workshop received a perfect score from attendees in 2009. Because of the hands-on nature, the seminar is limited to 42 participants so early registration is recommended. Click here for more info.
